Ryan Bassett has been infiltrating and energizing the Ogden music scene since he was old enough to belly up to the bar. He has played EVERY EQ event. Along with his co-stage manager Greg Daniels, they have scheduled and managed the main stage for the past four years. He doesn't like to toot his own horn, but this year he will be playing in FOUR bands and running the meadow stage. Ryan has done pretty well at running his stage, he is thoughtful about where he places bands, he considers what type of music they play, how often they play out and their other factors to decide the best placement. He also tries to work around working band's schedules, which is a feat! He is not biased to his own bands rather his goal is to create the best audience experience.
You will not want to miss his performances, first off Pinetop Inferno

Pinetop Inferno belts out dirty blues originals and funky versions of some blues standards. You'll want to hit the stage when they are playing to "shake that thing." Everyone of these men are stellar musicians and swell guys.
Next up Tim Daniels Band.
The Tim Daniel's band consists of a wide variety of performers and often with talented guest artists sitting in for a special treat. The music is defined mostly as rockin' country with a twist of blues.

Next up, Hotel le Motel
This band is fronted by rocker Jason Sawyer and features all originals. These musicians have been playing together for over seven years in numerous bands resulting in some really tight sets. If you want to head bang a little, make sure to see this band play. Don't forget your jeans and black band t-shirt!

And last but not least, The Mistakes
This group of musicians play classic jam songs with a tiny smearing of blues and funk. They feature some originals as well as classic jam music..https://www.reverbnation.com/themistakes7
Ryan thinks this post makes him seems vain, but if you are running the festival main stage and playing in four bands, a little recognition is warranted. Thank you Ryan for all you do for FallEQ!
