NEW FallEQ 2016 Event: The Silent Disco

Bonnaroo, Electric Forest, Choachella and now....Ogden! Introducing the FallEQ 2016 Silent Disco.

Maybe you've heard of them, maybe not. Maybe you've stumbled upon one at a large festival and wondered what is going on. Now you can be what is going on -- join the silent disco.

Matt Housley of Night Spin Kollective, a long-time EQ DJ stage manager and the founder of Nocturnal Grooves is bringing us the silent disco for the first time ever. Fully produced, two DJs going head-to-head after midnight, both nights at EQ.

What is a Silent Disco?

This music goes all night and is radically inclusive to those who choose to participate. All you need is an FM receiver. The two DJs sound will be sending out to two FM channels - you can pick up the sound with anything that can pick up FM stations - your mobile phone, FM headphones or an old-school boom box. The transmitter broadcasts for 5 miles. So dance at the stage with a full light show or host a silent-ish party at your camp.

What we cannot do: no loud car stereos or amplified sound. Ogden City will shut us down.

Keep the silent disco going all night!!!

FallEQ 2016: Get to the STAGE!!!

We are not kidding. Get to the stage. Bring your friends. Sometimes we have 1500 in the Fort and 50 in front of the stage. The bands practice just for you. They've put together sets just for you. And bring all your things!

Unlike most events, we allow you to bring your drinks, coolers, chairs, shade structures, kids, wine boxes, blankets, BBQs....all the things.I don't even care if you drag your tent a little close. Just give the stage some dancing room and the sound team a buffer and keep the fire lanes open. Get to the stage. No RVs or cars in the field, but otherwise, get to the stage and hang out!!!

We'd love to see 100s in front of the stage. Get there, share your love with the bands. I know your camp is fun, bring your camp to the stage.

Bring your bikes and wagons, get to the stage!!!!! See you soon!!!
